Marriage and Family Therapist Intern IMF #66776

We are all stewards of the scars we bare. We all experience pain and we have all been healed of pain. If you manage your scars productively, you can share your comfort with others in order to comfort them. We can use our relationships to others and the world as the vehicle for growth and security; even in a world where so many are preaching for independence. So often it is difficult to see our pain as an opportunity, yet by way of a counselor and counselee relationship, these opportunities can be made visible. I believe the old adage to be true; “The more pain, the more gain.”
Who can benefit?
When you have a cavity you go to the dentist. When you need an oil change you go to a mechanic. Whether you are in need of a life change or suffering crises, a therapist can be the specialist you need. Sometimes we are too close to a situation and a fresh perspective is all that is needed. Other times, its crucial to go to an expert, especially when your wellbeing is on the line. Because it is hard for us to see the obstacles that stand in our way (that keep us stagnant) and unable to see below the surface, even in the present moment, everyone can benefit from having a process consultant; that is an assistant in creating situations, speaking productively, and experiencing events that reflect true intentions.Types of Therapy Corinne Offers:
As a therapist, Corinne offers clinical individual, couples, teens, and family therapy. She uses a process known as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a structured approach that is clinically and scientifically proven to increase partner and family engagement, responsiveness, and accessibility, all of which are needed to effectively love and communicate.
